25 things you can look forward to when you’ve recovered.

So you’ve had surgery and you’ve started your recovery process, but there’s still a way to go before you are better. It can be frustrating and so easy to lose hope and wind up stuck in a spiral of not being able to see the positives, so here is a list of 25 things that will soon be a part of your life again.

  1. You can walk again with no limp in sight.
  2. You won’t be in pain anymore.
  3. You won’t need to rely on a crutch anymore.
  4. You won’t need to take pain medication.
  5. You can start working again.
  6. (For the girls) You can wear heels again!
  7. You can travel freely without having to take an uber or taxi everywhere.
  8. You can go on holiday.
  9. You can earn money.
  10. You can go on dates.
  11. You can get fit again.
  12. You can go for a run.
  13. You can go for a swim.
  14. You can have a bath.
  15. You can go out and party.
  16. You can walk along the beach.
  17. You can visit a theme park.
  18. You can cook a meal.
  19. You can go to the cinema.
  20. You can visit and support your friends.
  21. You can play/take your pet for walks.
  22. You can go to the theatre.
  23. You can go to auditions.
  24. You can perform again.
  25. You can DANCE again.

I hope this list will help you be able to find some new motivation and things to look forward to. Think about all you will soon be able to return to and the joy you will find out of things which were so simple. I can’t wait and I’m sure you will be able to either!
